About This Blog
I set this up a long, long time ago, as a place to write about writing, and reading. It then languished, unread, un-posted to and unloved, for a very long time. I decided to see if I could wake it up again after NaNoWriMo 2011, having rediscovered the joy of the written word. We’ll see how long my enthusiasm lasts…
About Me
I’m a librarian, based in West Yorkshire. People generally assume that my job means I get to sit around reading books all day – sadly, I work for a law firm, and legal textbooks are not my idea of fun bedtime reading. To be fair, I’m fairly sure “proper” librarians don’t get to read all day either…
I’m an avid reader, and an aspiring writer. Other interests include cross stitch, walking, photography, and swearing. The first three hobbies may make guest appearances on this blog; but out of respect for the delicate sensibilities of the average internet user (right?), I shall try to keep the fourth to a minimum.
